This is why you haven’t seen anything new! That and I’m trying to learn how to work Photoshop and Illustrator with the idea that if I learn more about them, I won’t NEED a scanner. Maybe. It’s very confusing so I have a Dummies book now. I do have some fun sketches of scenes from work, and I think  you’ll enjoy them….eventually I’m going to organize them and post them in a series here.

Just think, before you know it, you’ll be BOMBARDED with my visual thoughts! Until then, I’ll try not to neglect the site too much

tra la la! it's morning!

Now that I’m in my 30′s I find more and more of my mornings begin with me looking in the mirror and seeing this reflection

WHY is it so Bright and Loud?!?

I also find that people like to tell me I look tired. Even if I’m not, but especially if I am. Just what every single gal in her 30′s trying to justify that she is NOT a spinster wants to hear.

Wow! You look TIRED!

You know what?  I look tired because I AM tired, Sherlock! Tell me, does it look like I want to talk about how tired I look? No?Good!

The only time I ever comment on someone appearance in a negative way is if I think they look like they may barf on me and then pass out. Usually this appearance is accompanied by “I’m going to Barf” breathing, and I really don’t want to have to shower twenty times and burn my brand new jeans.

No, no. I take that back. Once a co-worker talked about how sick she was for like an HOUR, and said “I know I don’t look like it, but I feel so sick” and I said “Oh no, you look terrible.”

I guess she wasn’t that sick, because she stopped complaining to me. And talking to me for the rest of the day. If only she knew how happy that made me. It would have been better if she had retorted

“Wow you look tired!”
